Hello there! Thank you for stopping by my website. My name is Joel, and I am an illustrator and art teacher living in Houston, Texas. Ever since I was little, I loved to draw. So growing up on a healthy diet of comic books and Saturday morning cartoons, I developed a fondness for the ability of art to tell a story. My work has appeared in picture books, comic books, newspapers and journals.  I belong to SCBWI and the Picture Book Dummies.
